Christy Pambianchi

EVP & Chief Human Resources Officer, Verizon

I think one of the first keys to unlocking success is finding what you’re passionate about and working with people that share that passion.

Christy M. Pambianchi is executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Verizon, responsible for helping thousands of V Teamers maximize their potential and realize their greatest ambitions. Her advocacy for workplace diversity has led to a number of industry recognitions, including honors from Forbes, Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), Working Mother, Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), Black Enterprise, Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Disability:IN and Military Friendly®.

In response to the staggering rise in unemployment triggered by the COVID crisis, Christy joined HR leaders to launch People+Work Connect, a coalition to connect companies with workforces laid off or furloughed with those in urgent need of workers.

Christy holds a Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations. In 2017, she was inducted as a fellow to the National Academy of Human Resources, recognizing her career contributions to the field of HR.
