Hillary Scott

Recording Artist, Lady A

As a businesswoman and working mom, I think it is so important for us to rally together to support the Your Hour, Her Power campaign.

As the co-leader of Lady A, Hillary Scott has been part of becoming one of 21st century’s premier vocal groups, ushering more than 18 million album units, 34 million tracks sold, and nearly five billion digital streams. They have earned Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music's “Vocal Group of the Year” trophies three years in a row and countless other honors.

In 2012, the band created LadyAID, a philanthropic effort to bring awareness to numerous initiatives, most recently announcing the LadyAID Scholarship Fund, supporting students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. LadyAID has now given out more than $1.6M in grants to date.

The nine-time GRAMMY winner has also proven herself to be a savvy leader in the music business world as the co-owner of two corporations overseeing all global and domestic touring operations, music distribution, brand partnerships and merchandising. Scott continues to employ, elevate and strives to empower women not only in her own business ventures, but as a role model. Outside of juggling business endeavors, she and her husband Chris Tyrrell live in Nashville, TN and are parents to three blossoming girls.
